?A 16-year-old boy is one of two people who were arrested by officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force over the weekend, in connection with two separate murders. The teenager, of Trou Macaque, Laventille, was held for the killing of Ghanaian national, Kofi Boeteing, which occurred on November 18. He was nabbed while walking in the vicinity of Halls Lane, Pelican Road Extension, Morvant. The suspect was identified as the person who allegedly drove Boeteing's car after he was carjacked and stabbed in the neck by four men on Picton Street, Newtown, Port-of-Spain.
On Saturday afternoon, NEDTF officers arrested a known member of the Gambino gang, who officers said was wanted in connection with the murder of Chevon "Tupac" Lewis. The suspect was held while walking along Pashley Street, Laventille. Two men–Marvin Agard, 31, and Abdul Mohammed, also known as Victor and Barry Alphonse–are before the court charged with Lewis' killing. Lewis, 23, of East Dry River, Port-of-Spain, was shot and killed after a group of men stormed a wake at Chinapoo Village, Morvant, on April 12.
