Drug dealers do not fear radar and boats

Open letter to Prime Minister Patrick Manning:

I have news for you. Nobody, least of all the drug dealers, have any fear of your 360-degree radar or your patrol boats. In fact, all your so-called drug-fighting efforts are a big joke in drug circles, I hear. So far from targeting you for it, they are hoping you remain in power forever.

Tell me, sir, how many drug dealers have your radar or patrol boats caught so far? None. So do you think the drug dealers will target someone who is so ineffective? All you have to do is catch a few criminals with your radar and boats, then we might believe you.

While you're at it, you can send the same message to Marlene McDonald. Tell her the best way to convince us of how many different kinds of shows can be held at NAPA is to mount them, not waste money telling us so in incessant television and full-page advertisements. But I guess that neither of you will listen.
