I am fed up with all the talk about silk. I am fed up of politi­cians who promise one thing and do an­oth­er. I am fed up of the Op­po­si­tion look­ing for stu­pid­ness to talk about in­stead of mak­ing a con­cert­ed ef­fort to get its act to­geth­er so that when­ev­er an elec- tion comes it will stand a chance. I am fed up of sit­ting on the Diego Mar­tin high­way from as ear­ly as 6.30 am in traf­fic while max­is, cars and vans speed down the shoul­der as if it is an­oth­er lane.

I am fed up of see­ing peo­ple who are walk­ing or jog­ging on the said shoul­der hav­ing to scram­ble out of the way to avoid get­ting run-over. I am fed up that po­lice will come and wait to catch the shoul­der dri­vers for maybe two days and then we don't see them again. I am fed up of see­ing peo­ple bold­faced­ly talk­ing on their cell­phones while dri­ving and not be­ing charged. I am fed up of be­ing afraid of ban­dits and mur­der­ers who are not be­ing jailed or hanged for their crimes while we live in bondage. I am just fed up.
