There has been much alarm over the spy agency, but any clear-mind­ed per­son would know that spy­ing by gov­ern­ments has been go­ing on for cen­turies. Some spy­ing is for the good of the coun­try and some not, but spy­ing by gov­ern­ments is nec­es­sary. What is wrong is how it is used.

Pri­vate spy­ing is nev­er good yet there are gad­gets be­ing sold on the mar­ket for such a pur­pose. I saw an ad­ver­tise­ment in one of our dailies of­fer­ing spy­ing de­vices for sale (spy watch­es, spy glass­es, and spy pens) by a com­pa­ny in Arou­ca.

Things of this na­ture are in­tru­sive and can be used for per­son­al gain and, as we say, for mac­co­ing.

The Gov­ern­ment and the po­lice should have these things con­fis­cat­ed and peo­ple and com­pa­nies with them pros­e­cut­ed.
