Jean­nine Ram­lochan, di­rec­tor for Mrs World T&T, is hop­ing for a re­peat of this coun­ty’s suc­cess in the in­ter­na­tion­al pageant lat­er this year.

This year, sev­en women are com­pet­ing for a chance to rep­re­sent this coun­try. When they were sashed at the Re­gents Star Ho­tel in Pi­ar­co on June 29, Ram­lochan said she hoped this year’s rep­re­sen­ta­tive would fol­low in the foot­steps of the two pre­vi­ous rep­re­sen­ta­tives, Yolan­dra John and Pre­cious Piper, who placed in the top ten and 16 spots, re­spec­tive­ly.

The 2024 Mrs World Pageant will be held in Las Ve­gas, Neva­da, and the lo­cal del­e­gates are cur­rent­ly deep in train­ing to com­pete in the na­tion­al cos­tume, swimwear, evening gown, and Q&A seg­ments in the lo­cal leg of the com­pe­ti­tion.

The Mrs World T&T rep­re­sen­ta­tive will be se­lect­ed on Sep­tem­ber 29 at Car­ni­val City in San Fer­nan­do.

The lo­cal del­e­gates are Mar­sha Guer­ra-Col­lier, Mern Cindy Fi­garo, Jami­lah James, Sade Thomas, Chimere De Sil­va-Prince and Vanes­sa Ra­moutar.
