Vit­to­ria De La Grenade of Sap­phire Dri­ve Di­a­mond Vale, Diego Mar­tin. Born on 26th March 1930, died on 9th De­cem­ber 2024 at the age of 94. She will be lov­ing­ly re­mem­bered as the grand­daugh­ter of the late Edith Flo­rence Louisa La Grenade née Stephens and daugh­ter of the late George Li­onel (Lio) De La Grenade and Edith Philip Lam­bert. Cousin and aunt to mem­bers of her pa­ter­nal fam­i­ly: La Grenade and De La Grenade. Sis­ter, aunt, great aunt and cousin to those on her ma­ter­nal side: Lynch and Philips hail­ing from Grena­da, Trinidad, USA, and Venezuela. Cousin Vit­ty was a beloved el­der in the Rul­low ex­tend­ed fam­i­ly. She was a close friend to the Mar­celles, Si­mon­ettes, and Kissoons. Serv­ing her com­mu­ni­ty as an ed­u­ca­tor, ed­u­ca­tion­al leader, com­mu­ni­ty builder and good neigh­bour. Fu­ner­al ser­vice will be held on Wednes­day De­cem­ber 18th 2024 at 10:30am at St An­tho­ny’s Ro­man Catholic Church, Morne Co­co Road, Pe­tit Val­ley and thence to Wood­brook Ceme­tery, Mu­cu­rapo Road, St James.
