Aero­post will be launch­ing its new smart par­cel lock­er net­work which promis­es a so­lu­tion to the rapid growth in e-com­merce and as­so­ci­at­ed dis­tri­b­u­tion is­sues.

The com­pa­ny con­firmed in a re­lease that the of­fi­cial launch is sched­uled for 10:00 am on Thurs­day 27 Oc­to­ber 2022, at its Fer­nan­des Com­pound of­fices—East­ern Main Road, Build­ing 30, Unit 2, Fer­nan­des In­dus­tri­al Cen­tre, Laven­tille.

“The ben­e­fits of the Aero­post Smart Lock­er so­lu­tion, al­though pri­mar­i­ly de­vel­oped with our cus­tomers in mind, are al­so avail­able to Gov­ern­ment, Em­bassies, Fi­nan­cial In­sti­tu­tions, Large Or­gan­i­sa­tions and al­so SME’s,” Aero­post says in the re­lease.

“The so­lu­tion can be cus­tomized for any en­ti­ty with a need for a con­ve­nient, con­tact­less and tech­no­log­i­cal method to han­dle ex­po­nen­tial growth in e-com­merce and dis­tri­b­u­tion so­lu­tions. As a last-mile so­lu­tion these can in­clude de­liv­ery of, iden­ti­fi­ca­tion cards, pass­ports, cred­it cards, cheque books, doc­u­ments, and even prod­ucts sold on­line through lo­cal stores,” the com­pa­ny not­ed.  “The so­lu­tion will work in tan­dem with or­ga­ni­za­tions that seek to lead the dig­i­tal econ­o­my with ver­sa­tile and se­cure tech­nol­o­gy op­tions.”

It added: “Aero­post smart par­cel lock­ers are strate­gi­cal­ly placed at over a dozen lo­ca­tions across Trinidad, in­clud­ing one at its main hub at the Fer­nan­des Com­pound, key Massy Stores and Unipet ser­vice sta­tions.”

Aero­post says it plans to fur­ther ex­pand in Trinidad and To­ba­go and the Caribbean re­gion.

Aero­post In­ter­na­tion­al was ac­quired by Click Part­ners Ltd. in 2021. The group al­so owns Click­Box, which pow­ers the last-mile de­liv­ery so­lu­tion.

“To en­sure that Aero­post, this re­gion­al e-com­merce gi­ant keeps its com­mit­ment to make shop­ping sim­ple for its cus­tomers, the smart par­cel lock­er net­work is now be­ing de­ployed here,” Aero­post said.
