Aeropost will be launching its new smart parcel locker network which promises a solution to the rapid growth in e-commerce and associated distribution issues.
The company confirmed in a release that the official launch is scheduled for 10:00 am on Thursday 27 October 2022, at its Fernandes Compound offices—Eastern Main Road, Building 30, Unit 2, Fernandes Industrial Centre, Laventille.
“The benefits of the Aeropost Smart Locker solution, although primarily developed with our customers in mind, are also available to Government, Embassies, Financial Institutions, Large Organisations and also SME’s,” Aeropost says in the release.
“The solution can be customized for any entity with a need for a convenient, contactless and technological method to handle exponential growth in e-commerce and distribution solutions. As a last-mile solution these can include delivery of, identification cards, passports, credit cards, cheque books, documents, and even products sold online through local stores,” the company noted. “The solution will work in tandem with organizations that seek to lead the digital economy with versatile and secure technology options.”
It added: “Aeropost smart parcel lockers are strategically placed at over a dozen locations across Trinidad, including one at its main hub at the Fernandes Compound, key Massy Stores and Unipet service stations.”
Aeropost says it plans to further expand in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region.
Aeropost International was acquired by Click Partners Ltd. in 2021. The group also owns ClickBox, which powers the last-mile delivery solution.
