Interconnection issues between Digicel and Bmobile have once again reared its head as several Digicel customers reportedly made calls in the past two days to people on the Bmobile network and could not be heard on the other end.
In an advisory to customers, Digicel said it is aware of issues being experienced by mobile customers attempting to make voice calls between Digicel and Bmobile.
The company said, “Our technical team is working closely with the other network to rectify the technical difficulties affecting interconnectivity. We apologise for the inconvenience and will continue to work assiduously to get calls between networks normalised as soon as possible.”
This issue comes just over a month after interconnection issues prevented calls or messages between networks from being transmitted on the morning of June 14. That interconnection issues were resolved by 10.30 am on that day.
