Hours after he was attacked by a friend's four pitbulls, popular motorbike stuntman, Anthony Cox, also known as Mad Max, is thanking God for life.

In an 18-second video sent out from his hospital bed, Cox smiled and gave a thumbs-up. He also promised to be back out soon in the 'Park' stunting again.

The attack occurred at Pierre Road, Mt Pleasant in Arima around 11.24 pm on Saturday.

He was visiting a friend when the attack occurred. The dogs reportedly pounced when he entered the yard.

Hearing the commotion, the friend ran outside and used a cutlass to fend off the dogs, injuring them.

Cox was bitten on his hands, legs, and head. He is currently warded in hospital in a stable condition.

The four dogs may have to be euthanised.
