Police are investigating the theft of food hampers from the PNM's Chaguanas office, located on the corner of Chrissie Terrace and Lendore Village in Enterprise.
Guardian Media understands a watchman on duty at the office checked on the five secured hampers around 11:50 pm on Boxing Day.
When the watchman returned to the compound around 4:00 am on Friday, he discovered the hampers were missing.
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage, which showed a man walking onto the compound and stealing the goods.
When contacted for comment, a PNM official from Chaguanas East said he was unaware of the thefts, as all hampers had already been distributed.
"I can confirm that all of our goods were given out, so I don't know about that matter in particular," he stated.
Officers from the Chaguanas CID are continuing their enquiries.
