The body of a Venezue­lan na­tion­al was found with stab wounds on a dirt road in La Ro­maine yes­ter­day. Homi­cide of­fi­cers be­lieve they have iden­ti­fied the vic­tim but are await­ing con­fir­ma­tion. Po­lice found the body in a dirt road off M2 Ring Road short­ly af­ter noon on Sat­ur­day af­ter re­ceiv­ing an anony­mous tip-off.

The body was ly­ing face up.. It was a light brown com­plex­ion, ear­ly twen­ties, clad in a pair of black three-quar­ter pants and bare­back. There were stab wounds to the face and left up­per back. Tat­tooed on the left up­per arm were the words “get rich or die try­ing” and a pray­ing hand on the left up­per back.

The of­fi­cer found a piece of con­crete block with a bent piece of quar­ter-inch steel at­tached. Un­con­firmed re­ports stat­ed that the man, who resided in La Ro­maine, went to sell an iPhone in San Fer­nan­do. He was rid­ing a bi­cy­cle. Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion 3 are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
