A well-loved businesswoman from Carenage, who was accustomed to feeding the community, was gunned down on Sunday morning.
Radica Debideen was shot multiple times around 8:10 am, at Ravi By The Bay, Carenage, Western Main Road.
She reportedly was shot by a lone gunman shortly after she opened the one-stop shop, which stocks groceries, produce, toiletries and drinks.
Meanwhile, robbery is believed to be the motive behind the killing of Garib Goring at his house at Arena Road, Freeport, earlier today.
The farmer—who previously lived in St Joseph—was beaten up, tied up and stabbed multiple times, before being set alight.
Neighbours reported seeing smoke coming from the unfinished house, which is set back from the main access road.
Upon checking, they found the deceased, Garib Goring.
Investigations continue.
