Jereem Richards ran away with gold in the Men’s 400m fi­nal, clock­ing in a new per­son­al best time of 44.54 sec­onds last night at the CAC Games in San Sal­vador.

Olympic cham­pi­on Keshorn Wal­cott re­ceived gold in the men’s javelin throw with a best mark of 83.60m. Fol­low­ing along, Carl­ton Hosten, Kion Ben­jamin, Er­ic Har­ri­son and Devin Au­gus­tine took gold in the Men’s 4 by 100m re­lay fi­nal with a time of 38.30 sec­onds. T&T. In the Women’s 4 by 100m, Sanaa Fred­er­ick, Ak­i­lah Lewis, Leah Bertrand and Re­yara Thomas placed sec­ond, re­ceiv­ing sil­ver with a time of 43.43 sec­onds. The women’s shot put fi­nal­ist Cherisse Mur­ray placed 6th with her best mea­sured at 16.59m.

In the Ca­noe Sprint, Nicholas Robin­son placed sev­enth in the Men’s kayak sin­gle 1000m fi­nal with a time of 4:16.64. For golf, Christo­pher Robin­son end­ed the fi­nal with a re­sult of 71, land­ing him at 3rd place in the Men’s In­di­vid­ual Stroke Play Fi­nal Round 3. In Hock­ey, our men earned sil­ver af­ter los­ing 5-1 to Mex­i­co. T&T women won 90-12 against the Cay­man Is­lands in the Women’s Net­ball Group A match, lead­ing them to play against Ja­maica lat­er to­day. In Women Vol­ley­ball, the ladies lost yet an­oth­er match of the tour­na­ment, go­ing down 3 nil against Cu­ba.

Alexan­der Do­ri­an was de­feat­ed 2-1 in the Men’s 68kg Taek­won­do against Guatemala. Trinidad and To­ba­go’s Men's Wa­ter Po­lo team won their match 16-8 against Guatemala in the 5th to 8th place­ments with Christo­pher Forte be­ing top scor­er.

Team TTO medal count stands at 17 thus far con­sist­ing of sev­en gold, six sil­ver and four bronze.
