Police officers issued close to $2 million in ticket fines to motorists for various offences over the long Easter weekend.
The exercises also resulted in the arrests of 64 people for various offences.
The Police Service said officers issued 1,844 tickets to motorists.
It said 21 drivers were arrested for exceeding the prescribed breath alcohol limit while the majority of violations were for speeding—as 498 tickets were issued.
Reports said there were 371 seatbelt violations, while 119 other motorists were ticketed for driving without insurance.
The various operations and anti-crime exercises conducted throughout all 10 policing divisions resulted in the arrest of 64 people for various offences and the seizure of illegal firearms and narcotics.
Over the weekend, police seized 13 illegal guns and arrested 15 people in connection with the seizures.
In one incident on Sunday, six suspects were arrested and two firearms were seized when police intercepted two vehicles in Aranguez. The six suspects were arrested mere minutes after a home invasion incident in the area.
Four of the 13 guns were seized by the Central Division and included one pistol, one revolver and two shotguns.
Police also seized approximately 17.57 kilogrammes of marijuana and 74 grammes of cocaine.
The TTPS said at about 10.30 pm on Monday, officers received information and proceeded to Golconda Connector Road in the Southern Division where they intercepted a Toyota Corolla.
During a search, they found 1.1 kilogrammes of marijuana under the front passenger seat.
One man was arrested and taken to the Marabella Police Station and charged.
The largest marijuana seizure occurred in the Tobago Division, where officers seized 8.48 kilogrammes of marijuana, and one suspect was arrested.
The suspect was one of the 21 people who were detained in connection with these drug seizures.
