The Bar­ba­dos Roy­als se­cured their third suc­ces­sive vic­to­ry of the 2022 Hero Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL) sea­son with a re­sound­ing win over the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers by 80 runs un­der Duck­worth-Lewis-Stern in the eighth game of the Caribbean Pre­mier League at the Daren Sam­my Crick­et Ground yes­ter­day.

TKR won the toss and chose to field but a bril­liant open­ing stand of 85 runs be­tween Kyle May­ers and Quin­ton De Kock built the plat­form for the Roy­als to score an im­pos­ing 194-4 af­ter their 20 overs, with cap­tain David Miller play­ing an ex­cep­tion­al in­ning of 60 runs from just 36 balls.

Bar­ba­dos Roy­als 194-4 (Miller 60, May­ers 52; Nar­ine 1/23, Rus­sell 1/33) beat Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers 51-7 (Munro 12, Rus­sell 9; Thomas 2/4, Mc­Coy 2/11) by 80 runs (DLS).
