A Diego Mar­tin man is ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore an Ari­ma Mag­is­trate to­day, charged with the mur­der of Se­cion Malchan, of Windy Hill, Arou­ca.  The mur­der oc­curred on Au­gust 31st, 2021.

A state­ment from the Po­lice Ser­vice says the 22-year-old vic­tim was found close to his home on 31st Au­gust 2021, with a gun­shot wound to the head.

The ac­cused, MAR­VIN WILLIAMS, 38, of Four Roads, Diego Mar­tin, al­so was charged with pos­ses­sion of firearm, pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion, pos­ses­sion of firearm to en­dan­ger life, pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion to en­dan­ger life and shoot­ing with in­tent, fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Roger Gas­pard SC, on Wednes­day 6th April 2022.

The ac­cused was ar­rest­ed by of­fi­cers of the West­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force on Sun­day 3rd April 2022.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by ASP Dou­glas, W/In­sp. Sylvester, In­sps. John and Ram­jag and Sgt. Stanis­claus, all of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (HBI), Re­gion Two.

Williams was charged by PC Kevorne Joseph, al­so of the HBI Re­gion Two, on Wednes­day 6th April, 2022.
