RHON­DOR DOWLAT-ROS­TANT 

Dou­bles ven­dor Yan­sil Seer­am, 34, of Cara­pichaima was killed ear­ly this morn­ing near a NP ser­vice sta­tion in Pi­ar­co. Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 3:30 pm, Seer­am, of Per­se­ver­ance Road, Cara­pichaima, had just pur­chased a bag of ice at the ser­vice sta­tion. While he was at­tempt­ing to reen­ter his ve­hi­cle he was ap­proached by a man who opened fire on him.

Seer­am died on the scene.

Seer­am was part of a team that op­er­at­ed the Skaters Dou­bles stall in the lo­cal food court of the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port.

Po­lice are yet to de­ter­mine a mo­tive for the killing.

In an­oth­er un­re­lat­ed in­ci­dent, at about 10:40 pm on Wednes­day, a man from Irv­ing Street in Pe­tit Bourg, went to a bar at Mt Dor when a car pulled up next to him and its oc­cu­pant shot him. The car then sped off.

The vic­tim was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex where he was treat­ed and ward­ed in a se­ri­ous con­di­tion.
