The Ministry of Education (MOE) says it has been informed by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) of a breach in the security with respect to Caribbean Secondary Education Council (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) papers.
In a media release, the Ministry said CXC is currently investigating the matter and will provide further information to all regional Education Ministers.
The Ministry said the situation is being closely monitored, and it will provide updates on this serious matter as they become available. “Students and parents are advised that at this time, there are no proposed changes to the CSEC and CAPE examination schedule,” it said.
