Police have arrested four people and seized evidence during an intensive anti-crime operation in the Northern Division on Monday.
In a media release, the TTPS said yesterday’s operation focused on high-priority areas in the Maloney and La Horquetta Police Station Districts.
A total of 30 street checks were conducted, with six search warrants executed at various residences. During the operation, officers seized evidence at residences located at Rocky Mc Collin Circular, Phase 4, La Horquetta and Sylvia Hunte Avenue, Phase 4, La Horquetta.
Four individuals were arrested on various charges during the operation.
Three suspects, ages 30, 37 and 42 years were arrested for wounding with intent, while an 18-year-old was detained for being a member of a gang.
Enquiries are ongoing.
The operation included members of the Northern Division North Criminal Investigations Departments (CID), Northern Division North Gang Unit, Northern Division Task Force North and South, Charge Room officers, Canine Unit, Northern Operations Task Force (NOTF), Stolen Vehicles Unit, and other supporting units.
It was coordinated by ACP Singh; led by W/Snr Supt Maynard-Wilson and ASP Pitt; and supervised by Insp Haywood, Sgt Caesar, Sgt Marcano, Sgt Persad, and Sgt Haynes.
