Po­lice have ar­rest­ed four peo­ple and seized ev­i­dence dur­ing an in­ten­sive an­ti-crime op­er­a­tion in the North­ern Di­vi­sion on Mon­day.

In a me­dia re­lease, the TTPS said yes­ter­day’s op­er­a­tion fo­cused on high-pri­or­i­ty ar­eas in the Mal­oney and La Hor­quet­ta Po­lice Sta­tion Dis­tricts.

A to­tal of 30 street checks were con­duct­ed, with six search war­rants ex­e­cut­ed at var­i­ous res­i­dences. Dur­ing the op­er­a­tion, of­fi­cers seized ev­i­dence at res­i­dences lo­cat­ed at Rocky Mc Collin Cir­cu­lar, Phase 4, La Hor­quet­ta and Sylvia Hunte Av­enue, Phase 4, La Hor­quet­ta.

Four in­di­vid­u­als were ar­rest­ed on var­i­ous charges dur­ing the op­er­a­tion.

Three sus­pects, ages 30, 37 and 42 years were ar­rest­ed for wound­ing with in­tent, while an 18-year-old was de­tained for be­ing a mem­ber of a gang.

The op­er­a­tion in­clud­ed mem­bers of the North­ern Di­vi­sion North Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ments (CID), North­ern Di­vi­sion North Gang Unit, North­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force North and South, Charge Room of­fi­cers, Ca­nine Unit, North­ern Op­er­a­tions Task Force (NOTF), Stolen Ve­hi­cles Unit, and oth­er sup­port­ing units.
