NCC Chairman Winston 'Gypsy' Peters will be the first contestant to take the stage at Calypso Fiesta on Saturday.
The draw for the Calypso Monarch semifinal took place at Kaiso House tent at the Queen's Park Savannah, on Thursday.
The 1997 Calypso Monarch winner is the first of eight former monarchs among the 40 who will face the judges at Skinner Park.
Nine-time winner Chalkdust will be the 13th contestant to take the stage with 2011 winner Karene Asche at 18, 2016 winner Devon Seale singing in position 22, 2010 monarch Kurt Allen at 29 followed by two-time winner Sugar Aloes at 30.
2012 winner Duane O'Connor will perform in position 36, with 2014 & 2015 winner Roderick "Chucky" Gordon singing in the final spot.
