Fi­nance Min­is­ter Colm Im­bert says a re­view of the forex win­dow is hap­pen­ing.

In a post on X re­spond­ing to a news­pa­per ar­ti­cle, Im­bert said, "Dur­ing COVID, we cre­at­ed a spe­cial win­dow at the Ex­im­bank to pro­vide USD for es­sen­tial im­ports, such as food and med­i­cine. Covid is over, so we are re­view­ing the fea­si­bil­i­ty of that forex win­dow."

His state­ment comes as the busi­ness com­mu­ni­ty has com­plained about a lack of ac­cess to for­eign ex­change.
