The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited says it has not cancelled any ferry sailings yet, but it continues to monitor the current weather situation.
In an advisory, the TTIT says:
“Further to advisories from the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Services of a Tropical Storm Warning for Tobago, the weather conditions are being monitored and if required, the sailing schedule will be amended to ensure the safety of passengers, crew and the vessels.”
The TTIT added:
“While there is no immediate threat at this time, any severe adverse condition will require all vessels to return to the Port of Spain Harbour. Hence, the situation may require cancellation of sailings and or the scheduling of additional sailings to return passengers to/from Tobago. The public will be advised immediately of any changes to the sailings.”
