A 38-year-old man was shot dead in Co­corite on Tues­day night.

He was iden­ti­fied as Chad Paul aka “Mad dog” of Co­corite Ter­race, Co­corite.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 8 pm Paul was lim­ing near his home along with a woman known to him when they were con­front­ed by armed men.

Paul was then shot mul­ti­ple times about the body.

He was sub­se­quent­ly, tak­en to St. James Med­ical Cen­tre but was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival.

Po­lice re­port­ed­ly re­cov­ered 27 spent 9mm rounds on the scene.
