The Man­zanil­la Beach Fa­cil­i­ty will re­main closed un­til fur­ther no­tice.

The Tourism Min­istry said this is to fa­cil­i­tate on­go­ing re­me­di­al works be­ing con­duct­ed at the beach fa­cil­i­ty.

It not­ed that even as the pub­lic now has lim­it­ed ac­cess to beach­es be­tween 5 am and 12 noon, all beach­go­ers are re­mind­ed to fol­low the pub­lic health guide­lines and ob­serve the three Ws which are, to wash your hands, wear your mask and watch your dis­tance.

Mean­while, the Gov­ern­ment has up­dat­ed the Pub­lic Health Or­di­nance to

al­low for the re­open­ing of beachies from 5 am to 12 noon.

It states: "Beach­es shall be open be­tween the hours of 5.00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. sub­ject to the fol­low­ing con­di­tions: (a) no per­son shall con­sume al­co­hol on the beach; (b) no per­son shall play loud mu­sic on the beach in­clud­ing from any mo­tor ve­hi­cle; (c) a gath­er­ing at the beach shall not ex­ceed ten per­sons at a time; and (d) each per­son shall com­ply with the mask wear­ing re­quire­ments un­der reg­u­la­tion 6, un­less he is in the wa­ter."
