A 23-year-old vil­lager was fa­tal­ly shot in Ma­yaro last evening. Ty­rone Hut­son, of Coop­er Trace, Mafek­ing Vil­lage died at the scene.

Po­lice re­spond­ed to a re­port around 7 pm about loud ex­plo­sions on Mafek­ing Road. When they got to scene, they found Hut­son's body in blood on the pave­ment with gun­shot wounds. A large crowd gath­ered at the scene.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors re­cov­ered sev­er­al nine mm cas­ings at the scene. PC Ramb­ha­jan is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
