The Met Office has warned that the levels of Saharan dust will reach unhealthy levels Wednesday night.
The warning formed part of the Met Office’s forecast for the day.
It said, “Partly cloudy and breezy with intervals of showers, some heavy at times, occurring in
varying localities from late morning and a 30% (low) chance of thunderstorms in few areas during the afternoon. Some cloudiness with a few showers will linger overnight. The concentration of Saharan dust will increase to unhealthy levels as the night progresses. Susceptible persons should take necessary precautions.”
The current rate of Saharan dust affecting T&T is expected to last until Friday.
