Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Amery Brown bid farewell to outgoing Colombian Ambassador Martha Cecilia Piñilla-Perdomo during a courtesy call today.
During the meeting minister Browne noted the success of Ambassador Piñilla-Perdomo in deepening the cooperation and relations between the two countries.

Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, bid farewell to Her Excellency Martha Cecilia Piñilla-Perdomo, outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago during a Courtesy Call on 10th November, 2022 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.
Minister Browne noted the success of Ambassador Piñilla-Perdomo in deepening the cooperation and relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia during her tenure and extended his best wishes on her future endeavours.
Minister also commended the work of the Embassy of Colombia in advancing closer relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Piñilla-Perdomo highlighted the importance of the Caribbean region to the Government of Colombia and discussed a number of initiatives to enhance cooperation in the areas of culture, tourism and trade between the Caribbean Region and Colombia. Minister Browne undertook to engage with Ambassador Piñilla-Perdomo’s successor on these and other initiatives of mutual benefit for Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia.
