Search­es are un­der­way for a 14-year-old Moru­ga school girl who has been miss­ing since Sun­day.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion on Suraya Boodan, a stu­dent of St Stephen Col­lege is asked to con­tact­ed the po­lice im­me­di­ate­ly.

Her fa­ther Ran­dall Boodan, 44, of Pe­tite Café, In­di­an Walk, Moru­ga told the po­lice that he left her home around 6pm on Sun­day to con­duct busi­ness.

But, when he re­turned home about an hour and a half lat­er she was miss­ing. Af­ter mak­ing en­quires with­out any suc­cess on her where­abouts, the fa­ther went to the po­lice sta­tion around 2.30 am. Noth­ing in the house seemed to be miss­ing, po­lice said. Per­sons with in­for­ma­tion on her where­about are asked to con­tact the po­lice at 555, 999, 800 TIPS, any po­lice sta­tion or through the TTPS App.

Sgt Heer­alal of the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
