A National Cultural Policy is being implemented to ensure the hard work of cultural artistes does not go in vain. This was announced by Tourism, Culture and Arts Minister, Randall Mitchell, at the memorial service for late calypso icon Sandra “Singing Sandra” Des Vignes-Millington at the Queen’s Hall, in St Ann’s Port-of-Spain.
Mitchell, who brought greetings on behalf of his Ministry, said with the policy artistes will be recognised while they are alive.
