A Na­tion­al Cul­tur­al Pol­i­cy is be­ing im­ple­ment­ed to en­sure the hard work of cul­tur­al artistes does not go in vain. This was an­nounced by Tourism, Cul­ture and Arts Min­is­ter, Ran­dall Mitchell, at the memo­r­i­al ser­vice for late ca­lyp­so icon San­dra “Singing San­dra” Des Vi­gnes-Milling­ton at the Queen’s Hall, in St Ann’s Port-of-Spain.

Mitchell, who brought greet­ings on be­half of his Min­istry, said with the pol­i­cy artistes will be recog­nised while they are alive.
