To­ba­go’s road fa­tal­i­ty fig­ure has risen to ten fol­low­ing a dead­ly crash on the Claude Noel High­way on Sun­day.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, at 8.05 pm, the dri­ver of a white car was head­ing west near the Old Farm Road in­ter­sec­tion when his ve­hi­cle col­lid­ed with a mo­tor­cy­cle rid­den by Nkosi Patrick of St Luke Road. 

Patrick was thrown in­to a near­by drain and was rushed to the Scar­bor­ough Hos­pi­tal.

Doc­tors pro­nounced him dead at 8.27 pm.

Po­lice im­pound­ed both ve­hi­cles at the Shir­van Road Po­lice Sta­tion.

The toll in To­ba­go has sur­passed 2023’s fig­ure for the same pe­ri­od, which was eight. 

Mean­while, TTPS Road Safe­ty Co­or­di­na­tor Brent Bat­son has again called on the pub­lic to be care­ful when us­ing the roads.
