Newsday Photographer Sureash Cholai dies suddenly

Vet­er­an pho­tog­ra­ph­er Sureash Cholai, who'd worked for Trinidad News­day since 2003, died sud­den­ly this morn­ing, News­day's for­mer Ed­i­tor-in-Chief Judy Ray­mond and sev­er­al of his col­leagues con­firmed.  

Cholai was 59. 

He was de­scribed as a pil­lar of the News­day news­room and of the me­dia fra­ter­ni­ty.  

His death comes just a few weeks af­ter an­oth­er News­day vet­er­an jour­nal­ist Nali­nee See­lal passed away from health com­pli­ca­tions.
