National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago will open a few service centres on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 from 11:00 a.m. after it closed several locations on Boxing Day following a ransomware attack.
“It is important to note that, notwithstanding the service disruptions experienced as a result of the ransomware attack, the NIBTT continues to meet all commitments to beneficiaries, including payments of long-term benefits due at the beginning of January 2024,” NIB said in a release.
“The organization, in conjunction with our cyber security partners, continue to work diligently toward the restoration of full services and the return to normal business operations.”
