Ot­to Car­ring­ton

There will be no pub­lic view­ing of the body of for­mer Chair­man of San­gre Grande Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion, Ter­ry Ron­don. The Cor­po­ra­tion sug­gest­ed how­ev­er the Cor­po­ra­tion Chair­man and Coun­cil will host a can­dle­light vig­il at the San­gre Grande Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion of­fice.

The vig­il will take place at 6 pm fol­lowed by a wake at the cor­po­ra­tion build­ing at the Cor­ner of East­ern Main Road and Ram­dass Street.

The fu­ner­al ser­vice will be held at the St Charles RC Church in Tu­na­puna at 11 am on Wednes­day. Fol­low­ing the ser­vice there will be a pub­lic view­ing at the Na­tion­al Rac­quet Cen­tre, Or­ange Grove Road, Tacarigua, and then to the near­by Bel­groves Fu­ner­al Home, Trinci­ty, for the cre­ma­tion.

Ron­don spent 28 years as both a Coun­cilor and Chair­man at the San­gre Grande Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion.
