The North­ern Di­vi­sion of the Po­lice Ser­vice has so far ac­count­ed for the ma­jor­i­ty of mur­ders in T&T.

A break­down of the di­vi­sions shows the North­ern Di­vi­sion hav­ing 40 mur­ders, fol­lowed by the Cen­tral Di­vi­sion with 32.

The South­ern Di­vi­sion has record­ed 29 mur­ders so far this year, fol­lowed by the North East­ern Di­vi­sion with 25, the West­ern Di­vi­sion with 24, and the East­ern Di­vi­sion with 19. Port-of-Spain Di­vi­sion record­ed 17.

The South West­ern has record­ed 12 and the To­ba­go Di­vi­sion has record­ed 2.

The mur­der count now stands at 200.
