The con­do­lence book for for­mer Prime Min­is­ter Bas­deo Pan­day will be opened to mem­bers of the pub­lic in the Ro­tun­da Gallery of the Par­lia­ment from to­mor­row at the fol­low­ing times.

Thurs­day, Jan­u­ary 4, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Fri­day, Jan­u­ary 5, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and

Mon­day, Jan­u­ary 8, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

While there is no strict dress code the pub­lic is asked to dress mod­est­ly to ho­n­our the pe­ri­od of mourn­ing.

Pres­i­dent Chris­tine Kan­ga­loo, Sen­ate Pres­i­dent Nigel de Fre­itas and Deputy Speak­er and Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment for Tu­na­puna and Es­mond Forde and Vice Pres­i­dent of the Sen­ate Dr. Muham­mad Yunus Ibrahim were on hand to meet with mem­bers of the Pan­day fam­i­ly, in­clud­ing his broth­er Sub­has Pan­day to­day.
