Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley has shed light on his where­abouts Mon­day, not­ing that one of his broth­ers has died.

Dr Row­ley did not ad­dress the coun­try to­day fol­low­ing the an­nounce­ment of a State of Emer­gency Mon­day morn­ing.

How­ev­er, in Face­book post Mon­day af­ter­noon, Dr Row­ley re­vealed that his broth­er died on Sun­day.

He stat­ed: "My sin­cer­est thanks to those of you who have tak­en time to ex­press your con­do­lences to me and my fam­i­ly on the pass­ing yes­ter­day of my dear broth­er Alpheus. Your kind thoughts and good wish­es of sup­port are ap­pre­ci­at­ed."

The prime min­is­ter gave no fur­ther de­tails on the death of his broth­er.

In May 2024, he had told the coun­try that an­oth­er of his broth­ers, Fe­lix Joseph, had died at the age of 79.
