Police probing cable theft in Palo Seco

San­ta Flo­ra po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the theft of in­dus­tri­al ca­ble from an oil com­pa­ny in Pa­lo Seco.

Around 4:25 p.m. on Sun­day, a se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer from Blan­ket Se­cu­ri­ty con­duct­ed a pa­trol at Lease Op­er­a­tors WDI, Field Lo­ca­tion 619, and re­port­ed that every­thing ap­peared in­tact. 

How­ev­er, dur­ing a sec­ond pa­trol around 5:20 p.m., he dis­cov­ered that 300 feet of heavy-du­ty in­dus­tri­al ca­ble, which had been con­nect­ed to three stand­ing lights, were miss­ing.

PC John and WPC Gra­ham vis­it­ed the scene. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are on­go­ing.
