Se­nior po­lice of­fi­cials from the TTPS be­lieve kid­napped dou­bles ven­dor An­isha Ho­sein-Singh was re­leased by her ab­duc­tors af­ter in­tense in­ves­ti­ga­tions "spooked" them.

Po­lice made the rev­e­la­tion dur­ing a me­dia brief­ing in the area com­mon­ly re­ferred to as “The Zone”, at Up­per St Michael's Road, which is off St John's Road, St Au­gus­tine.

DCP for In­tel­li­gence and In­ves­ti­ga­tions, DCP Suzette Mar­tin, as­sured that law en­force­ment had not fall­en asleep on the job.

She com­mend­ed the men and women who worked around the clock to res­cue Ho­sein-Singh.
