Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley will trav­el to­day to the Ba­hamas to at­tend a high-lev­el meet­ing with US Vice Pres­i­dent Ka­mala Har­ris and Heads of Gov­ern­ment of the Caribbean Com­mu­ni­ty.

Min­is­ter of For­eign and CARI­COM Af­fairs, Dr Amery Browne will ac­com­pa­ny Dr Row­ley.

The meet­ing is be­ing co-host­ed by the US Vice Pres­i­dent and Chair­man of CARI­COM, Prime Min­is­ter of The Ba­hamas, Philip Davis.

The talks will build on the US Vice Pres­i­dent’s pre­vi­ous meet­ings with re­gion­al lead­ers last year at the Sum­mit of the Amer­i­c­as in Los An­ge­les in Sep­tem­ber 2022.

Min­is­ter of Fi­nance, Colm Im­bert will act as Prime Min­is­ter un­til Dr Row­ley's re­turn.
