It will cost you $2 to use the wash­room at City Gate in Port-of-Spain from next week, the Pub­lic Trans­port Ser­vice Cor­po­ra­tion has an­nounced.

In a re­lease is­sued to­day, the PTSC said the $2 "nom­i­nal main­te­nance fee" will be in­tro­duced on Au­gust 15.

"This is an ef­fort to im­prove the PTSC's over­all cus­tomer ser­vice ex­pe­ri­ence as we plan to up­grade our fa­cil­i­ties to meet the dai­ly needs of our com­muters," the re­lease stat­ed.

"The PTSC re­mains com­mit­ted to serv­ing its com­muters by im­prov­ing the cus­tomer ser­vice ex­pe­ri­ence by im­ple­ment­ing an in­creased main­te­nance sched­ule," it stat­ed.
