A timestamp of businessman Linwald Beharry’s movements last Monday is being sought by search teams as he remains missing. Hunters Search and Rescue Team Captain Vallence Rambharat said his crew, along with the Moruga Police led by Sgt Othello and the Anti Kidnapping Unit led by ASP Darryl Ramdass, covered a lot of ground in searching the southern parts of the island and checking surveillance cameras.
Even some of Beharry’s real estate students joined in the search. Police said the last time anyone saw Beharry was at 10.30 pm Monday. Another report stated that Beharry, 62, of Bois Jean Jean, Moruga, was last seen at his office in JTA Cross Crossing, San Fernando. Unverified information suggests that he left the office at 8.30 pm. His Mercedes-Benz sedan is still missing, and there has been no ransom demand.
Beharry is an Indo-Trinidadian man, 6’-2” tall, bald, has a stocky build, and is light brown in complexion. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Moruga Police Station at 656-7030 or any police station. People can also call 800-TIPS or contact the police hotlines at 555, 999, and 911.
