San Fer­nan­do po­lice are search­ing for two men who as­sault­ed an MTS se­cu­ri­ty guard at the Wood­land Hin­du School on Sat­ur­day be­fore rob­bing her of her ve­hi­cle and valu­ables worth ap­prox­i­mate­ly $3000.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said Ku­marie Ram­lochan Ju­man, 34, was in the guard booth around 1 am on Sat­ur­day when two men broke down the door. The sus­pects, both slim and ap­prox­i­mate­ly 5 feet 10 inch­es tall, wore dark cloth­ing and face masks.

One was armed with a knife, and the oth­er car­ried a large wrench. The sus­pects as­sault­ed Ju­man, tak­ing her ve­hi­cle keys, a black Nis­san Almera val­ued $25,000, a tablet val­ued $600, a cell­phone val­ued $1,100 and her wal­let con­tain­ing $1,200, along with sev­er­al bank cards.

They fled in the stolen ve­hi­cle, head­ing to­ward La Ro­maine. Po­lice of­fi­cers re­spond­ed to the scene, con­duct­ed in­ter­views, and re­viewed CCTV footage.

Search­es for the sus­pects and ve­hi­cle were un­suc­cess­ful. Ju­man was tak­en to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where she was treat­ed and dis­charged. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are on­go­ing.
