Teenager denied bail for firearm, shooting, robbery offences

A teenag­er from D’abadie has ap­peared be­fore the Ari­ma Mag­is­trates’ 1st Court on 12 charges stem­ming out of a rob­bery which oc­curred on Au­gust 8.

Tris­ton James, 18, of Red Hill, D’abadie was charged with the of­fences of rob­bery with ag­gra­va­tion, four counts of As­sault with In­tent to Rob, three counts of shoot­ing with in­tent, pos­ses­sion of firearm and am­mu­ni­tion and pos­ses­sion of firearm and am­mu­ni­tion with in­tent to en­dan­ger life.

James, was not called up­on to plea and was de­nied bail. He will next ap­pear be­fore Mag­is­trate Dubay on the Oc­to­ber 24.

James, was ar­rest­ed at the scene of the rob­bery, which oc­curred at Leela’s Bar, on the cor­ner of Dhan­pat Lane and Pi­ar­co Old Road, Mal­oney Gar­dens, where one per­son was fa­tal­ly shot.
