A teenager from D’abadie has appeared before the Arima Magistrates’ 1st Court on 12 charges stemming out of a robbery which occurred on August 8.
Triston James, 18, of Red Hill, D’abadie was charged with the offences of robbery with aggravation, four counts of Assault with Intent to Rob, three counts of shooting with intent, possession of firearm and ammunition and possession of firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
James, was not called upon to plea and was denied bail. He will next appear before Magistrate Dubay on the October 24.
James, was arrested at the scene of the robbery, which occurred at Leela’s Bar, on the corner of Dhanpat Lane and Piarco Old Road, Maloney Gardens, where one person was fatally shot.
