The Di­vi­sion of Ed­u­ca­tion, Re­search and Tech­nol­o­gy in the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly has ad­vised that all schools will be dis­missed at 1 pm to­day due to ad­vi­sories is­sued by the Trinidad and To­ba­go Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Ser­vice as a Trop­i­cal Wave nears T&T.

The Di­vi­sion ad­vised par­ents to make the nec­es­sary arrange­ments to have their chil­dren col­lect­ed as soon as pos­si­ble.

"Stu­dents who utilise the maxi taxi ser­vices will be col­lect­ed from their re­spec­tive schools. Un­less fur­ther ad­vised by a sub­se­quent re­lease, all schools will re­sume class­es on Thurs­day 22nd Sep­tem­ber, 2022," the Di­vi­sion said.

It urged all to re­main vig­i­lant and to take the nec­es­sary pre­cau­tions to pre­serve their safe­ty. Fam­i­lies af­fect­ed by the ad­verse weath­er con­di­tions are ad­vised to con­tact the 211 Call Cen­tre or TEMA at 660-7489.
