The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) has advised customers in parts of North-West Trinidad served by the Tucker Valley Pumping Station that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. due to planned maintenance work by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will impact operations at the facility.
In a media release, WASA said the affected areas are along the Western Main Road from Teteron Barracks, Chaguaramas, to La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, including, Abbe Poujade Street, Haig Street, School Street, L’Anse Mitan, Big Yard, Amowsville, Sanora Park, La Horquette Branch Road, The Park, Gulf View Drive and Glencoe.
WASA also said it may take up to 8 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the resumption of operations at the facility.
