The Na­tion­al Youth Arm of the Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress is call­ing on Ch­agua­nas burgess­es to give their sup­port to new­ly in­stalled May­or of the Bor­ough, Van­dana Mo­hit.

In an of­fi­cial state­ment is­sued to­day, the UNC's Youth Arm con­grat­u­lates the new May­or on her post­ing, de­scrib­ing her as "an in­tel­li­gent, ded­i­cat­ed, mo­ti­va­tion­al and vi­brant young woman" who has been self­less in her ser­vice to cit­i­zens of this coun­try.

The UNC Youth note the new po­si­tion will bring with it many chal­lenges, but they ex­press con­fi­dence that May­or Mo­hit will em­brace each chal­lenge grace­ful­ly and deal with them ac­cord­ing­ly.

The re­lease states that the UNC Youth sup­port the new May­or, and wish to see her do well for the burgess­es of Ch­agua­nas.

The par­ty's Youth Arm al­so went on to thank the po­lit­i­cal leader, Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, for giv­ing Mrs. Mo­hit the op­por­tu­ni­ty to serve at such a young age, and for stand­ing by her state­ment of hav­ing "a mix­ture of youth and ex­pe­ri­ence."
