Pharez McIntosh appeared before Magistrate Debby Ann Bassaw at the Arima Magistrates’ Court and was charged with the murder of Shaquille Hall. He was remanded into custody and will reappear in court on Tuesday 2nd November, 2021. Details follow in this press release from the TTPS:
PHAREZ McINTOSH, 24, was remanded into custody when he appeared before Magistrate Debby Ann Bassaw at the Arima Magistrates’ Court today. On Monday 4th October 2021 police received advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Roger Gaspard SC, to charge the unemployed man from Valencia with Murder, Possession of a firearm, Possession of ammunition, Possession of a firearm to endanger life and Possession of ammunition to endanger life. McINTOSH is due to reappear in court on Tuesday 2nd November, 2021.
The accused was charged relative to the death of SHAQUILLE HALL, also called ‘WACKA’, 28, a taxi-driver, of Malabar, Arima. HALL was shot and killed at the Corner of Pomegranate Avenue and Corallita Avenue, Malabar on Saturday 4th September 2021. The accused was arrested on Friday1st October 2021, at the Corner of Malabar Extension Road and La Croix Road, Malabar by PC Joseph of the Malabar Police Station. Upon his arrest he was found to have in his possession one magazine and nine rounds nine millimetre ammunition.
MC INTOSH was charged by A/Cpl Jones of the Homicide Bureau Region II Office on Monday 4th October 2021. The enquiry was supervised by ASP Douglas, Insp Hosein, Insp Ramjag and Insp Sylvester, all of theHomicide Bureau Region II Office.
