From midnight tonight until June 30, the Water and Sewerage Authority has placed a ban on the use of hosepipes, sprinklers, fountains and any similar apparatus for the purpose of watering private gardens and washing private motor cars.
Anyone found in violation of the ban faces a $75 fine.
WASA is also encouraging its customers to conserve their use of pipe-borne water supply as the company is experiencing a decline in water production during the 2024 dry season.
