A leaking 12” diameter pipeline, in the vicinity of the Preysal flyover has caused a disruption in water supply for customers in parts of Central Trinidad.
According to a press relase from the Water and Sewerage Authority emergency repair works are scheduled for today and are expected to be completed by 3:00 pm.
Affected areas include, Mayo, Tortuga, Indian Trail, Grand Couva, Brasso and Pepper Village.
Traffic Advisory:
Motorists are advised that during the course of these works, there will be a temporary closure of the north-bound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway at the Preysal flyover, with all north-bound traffic being diverted on to the Preysal flyover. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching the jobsite and to obey the signs and instructions of Traffic Control Officers on duty.
