Water supply disruption to parts of Paramin

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) is cur­rent­ly car­ry­ing out emer­gency re­pair works to the Paramin Well No.7, due to me­chan­i­cal fail­ure of the chlo­ri­na­tion sys­tem at the fa­cil­i­ty. Cus­tomers served by the Paramin Well No. 7 is be­ing ad­vised that works are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Fri­day 14th Jan­u­ary, 2022. De­tails fol­low in this press re­lease from WASA:

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) ad­vis­es cus­tomers served by the Paramin Well No.7, who are present­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing a dis­rup­tion in their pipe borne wa­ter sup­ply that, this is due to me­chan­i­cal fail­ure of the chlo­ri­na­tion sys­tem at the fa­cil­i­ty. Emer­gency re­pair works cur­rent­ly un­der­way are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed on Fri­day 14th Jan­u­ary, 2022.

Af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude:

Paramin, Bel­la Mon­tage, Saut Deau Gar­dens, Dahlia Gar­dens, Wood­bine Gar­dens, Win­ter Gar­dens, Her­cules Dri­ve, Her­rera Dri­ve and Phillip Trace.

A lim­it­ed truck borne ser­vice is avail­able up­on re­quest. For fur­ther in­for­ma­tion or as­sis­tance, cus­tomers are asked to con­tact WASA’s Cus­tomer Call Cen­tre toll free at 800-4420/26.
